For those still contemplating whether to bite the proverbial StubHub bullet and commit their entire life savings to the Phish gods, a great, FREE option is available just around the corner. Over at American Beauty (downstairs of Slake), Phish’s entire YEMSG New Year’s Eve extravaganza will be streaming for your enjoyment. Surrounded by a complete sound system, projections on multiple TVs around the venue, and hundreds of your closest phriends and phans, it will feel just like you’re at the show!
Attendees will receive a free pizza with every drink, and specialty Phish-themed drinks will be available for purchase.
Once the show concludes, an after party will follow featuring Teddy Midnight and very special guest Todd Stoops (RAQ) playing the music of the Grateful Dead, Phish, and Pink Floyd. Comprised of Adam Magnan on drums/sampler, Sean McAuley on keys/percussion and vocals, Sean Silva on bass/synth, and newest member Wiley Griffin on guitar, Teddy Midnight’s unique brand of electro-dance disco funk will bring you dancing into 2016 properly. With Stoops lending a hand on keys, this show will be out of this world.
Entry is free before the ball drops. The bar opens at 4 PM and the music will go till 4 AM, so stop by for a pre-show drink right around the corner from MSG, enjoy the free stream, or come get weird after-hours.
