The latest edition of the Catskill Chill Music Festival kicked off last night, September 22nd, beginning with the fest’s first-ever Thursday night pre-party. It was Vermont jam band Twiddle that got things off on the right foot, headlining the pre-party and bringing two great sets for fans at the Chill.

Though the Chill moved to a new home in 2016, Twiddle has been a festival regular and made fans feel comfortable with their patented blend of jamming. The band opened their set with a “Gatsby the Great,” and even collaborated with Scott Hannay of Mister F on a set-closing rendition of “Doinkinboink.” The show also marked the return of Ryan Dempsey on keys, who was sick and had missed a handful of shows.

Thanks to taper Edmund Edwards, a full audio stream of the Twiddle show can be streamed below. Dig it!
