Full Show Audio: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at the Capitol Theatre

In the wake of Furthur’s hiatus, drummer Joe Russo pieced together a Grateful Dead tribute act of his own. Dubbed Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, the band formed at the end of 2013, blowing away audiences at each and every performance. With Marco Benevento and a slew of great musicians, this is some of the best Dead music since the band played it themselves in the 70′s!

This audio comes from their second show, a performance on 12/27 at Port Chester’s Capitol Theater. Thanks to a tip from Jambase, we were able to dig up the recording through the musical magicians at archive.org. Now we can all bask in the Dead’s glow with this great concert!
