Following the highly-acclaimed Stoned Side of the Mule Vol. 1 [Review] and Dark Side of the Mule releases, Gov’t Mule will continue their archival releases with a reggae-themed performance from December 31, 2006 at the Beacon Theatre. Dub Side of the Mule isn’t due out until April 7th, but today we got our first taste of the new release.

In the video, premiered by Ultimate Classic Rock, Toots Hibbert leads Gov’t Mule and some extra friends through a rendition of the Toots & The Maytals classic tune, “Pressure Drop.” The lineup includes: guitarist Warren Haynes, drummer Matt Abts, bassist Andy Hess, keyboardist Danny Louis, guitarist Gordie Johnson, vocalists Machan and Elain Caswell, percussionist Sean Pelton and a horn section featuring Buford O’Sullivan, Pam Fleming and Jenny Hill

The new album is available for pre-order via Music Today, and you can see the full tracklisting (including a deluxe edition bonus DVD) below. Check out “Pressure Drop” right here:
