The GRAMMY Hall Of Fame has announced 26 albums to be inducted into their archives this year. Of course, we naturally couldn’t help but notice the Grateful Dead’s 1970 classic release, American Beauty, which features some of the band’s most iconic songs. “Box Of Rain,” “Friend Of The Devil,” “Sugar Magnolia,” “Operator,” “Candyman,” “Ripple,” “Brokedown Palace,” “Till The Morning Comes,” “Attics Of My Life,” and “Truckin’,” to name them all.

The momentuous release is accompanied by some worthy albums on the list of 2016 inductees: Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” The O’Jays’ “For the Love of Money,” Fleetwood Mac’s eponymous 1975 album, Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful”, The Andrew Sisters’ “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree (With Anyone Else But Me),” John Coltrane’s Lush Life album, Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration,” Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville,” Roberta Flack’s First Take album and The Zombies’ “She’s Not There.”
