Greensky Bluegrass are on a tear right now, continuing their run at the Ogden Theatre in Denver with a scorching Friday night show. The night was filled with fan favorites throughout the two set show, which also featured guest appearances by Andy Hall of Infamous Stringdusters and Nick Forster of Hot Rize. Greensky Bluegrass are clearly a band on top of their game, putting on a Jamgrass clinic that showed once again why they have become one of the top bands in the genre.

The band opened their show with “Merely Avoiding”, before kicking into an awesome “Broke Mountain Breakdown” > “Walk Away” > “Wings For Wheels” segment that immediately brought the energy up, and it stayed there for the rest of the set. The band added a ska intro to “Fixin’ To Ruin”, and Hall joined the band at the end of the set for “Worried About The Weather” and a raucous cover of Bruce Springsteen‘s “Atlantic City”.

Set Two opened with “Demons”, and “200 Miles From Montana”, before Forster jumped on stage for “Catch Me A Jesus” and “Climbing A Mountain”. “Living Over” and “Room Without A Roof” followed, before the band delivered a show-ending run of “Just To Lie” into “Bottle Dry” and then “Kerosene”. They returned to the stage for a fun encore of Rayland Baxter‘s “Yellow Eyes”. The band will complete their run at the Ogden this evening with their third and final show at the venue.
