Gregg Allman has announced his first album release since the dissolution of The Allman Brothers Band last year. Titled Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon, GA, the live album will be released on August 7th.

Back to Macon will spotlight Allman’s performance at the Grand Opera House in Macon, GA on January 14th, 2014. Performing with a solo band that included drummer Steve Potts, guitarist Scott Sharrard, bassist Ron Johnson and longtime Allman Brothers percussionist Marc Quiñones. Allman’s son, Devon Allman, also makes a guest appearance.

The band tackles a number of familiar tunes, including “Statesboro Blues,” “I Can’t Be Satisfied,” and a jammed-out version of “One Way Out” with an extended drum solo. Watch that footage below:
