The legendary Gregg Allman has been touring relentlessly in 2016, but it seems he’s fallen ill. The famed Allman Brothers Band founder was scheduled to perform in Wilmington, NC tonight, but has unfortunately cancelled his performance. A press release stated that Allman is “feeling under the weather and will not be able to perform.”

Allman also posted the following note to his fans: “North Carolina, y’all have always been good to me. Thank you for understanding. I’ll make it up to ya.”

In lieu of Allman’s performance, his band will be playing at the Greenfield Amphitheater for free. Tickets will be refunded at the box office, or exchanged for  tickets whenever the makeup date is scheduled. More information can be found in the local Port City Daily publication.
