The Greyboy Allstars have announced that their April 24th performance at Tipitina’s in New Orleans will pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix with a live rendition of his classic 1967 album, Axis: Bold As Love.
Karl Denson and co. will be joined by Grupo Fantasma for the Jazzfest afterparty performance. The album includes such favorites as “If 6 Was 9,” “Castles Made of Sand,” “Bold As Love,” and “Wait Until Tomorrow.” Tickets are available here.
