Hot Chip To Distribute 501 Unique Versions Of New Album Artwork

Hot Chip is getting ready to release their latest album, Why Make Sense?, on May 18th. The group is going about releasing hard copies of the album in a very unique way. According to a statement on their Facebook page, they will release 501 variations of cover artwork on the album sleeve:

Every copy of our new album “Why Make Sense?” will be 100% unique. Due to a bespoke printing technique which has never been used before, both the CD and LP will come in one of 501 different colours. Combined with subtle variations of the design, this means every copy of the album will feature completely unique artwork.
