Insomniac Events, known for producing events like EDC, Electric Forest, Nocturnal Wonderland and more, just released some striking data regarding the economic impact of their festival events. Over the last five years, from 2010-2014, the group has generated a grand total of $3.17 Billion for the US economy.

You read that right: $3.17 Billion. As in 3,170,000,000.

Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac Events, stated: “This study beautifully illustrates the powerful financial and cultural impact of dance music here in the United States… As support from our Headliners continues to grow, our contributions can continue to make a difference here at home and around the world.”
