Ivan Neville To Perform Intimate ‘Piano Sessions’ For First Time In New York City

For the first time ever, NOLA legend Ivan Neville will perform an intimate “Piano Sessions” set in New York. The rare concert experience is coming to the Blue Note Jazz Club for three nights in March, from the 4th through the 6th.

Neville’s solo piano performances are something of a legendary status in New Orleans, where he will play them roughly once per year. He’s also done similar sets on Jam Cruise, but NYC residents are certainly hopeful that this becomes a new tradition.

Catch Ivan at Fool’s Paradise in St. Augustine April 1-2 playing with the Chris Robinson Soul Revue (George Porter Jr., Eric Krasno Nikki Glaspie, Neal Casal) along with Lettuce, Vulfpeck, and more. Ivan will also be performing with his new project Neville Jacobs at the first annual NOLA Crawfish Festival during Jazz Fest.
