Jack White Supergroup The Dead Weather Announce First Album Since 2010

For the first time since 2010, Jack White‘s supergroup The Dead Weather are releasing an album, Dodge & Burn, in September. The group, comprised of Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age, Jack Lawrence of another White project, The Raconteurs, and White, formed in 2009.

Their first two studio albums, 2009’s Horehound and 2010’s Sea of Cowards, both found their way into the top-six of the Billboard 200. Despite the popularity of the supergroup, due to their obligations in other bands and projects, they will not be touring behind the record. Fans can also purchase a limited-edition version of the album featuring cool extras such as a unique pressing of Dodge & Burn on vinyl, playing cards and a bonus 7″ LP.
