In honor of the 25th anniversary of their second studio album, Ritual de lo Habitual, Jane’s Addiction is going on summer tour. With fellow alternative rock bands Living Colour and Dinosaur Jr. as support, The Sterling Spoon Anniversary Tour” is going to bring six cities some serious rock this summer, leading up to Jane’s Addiction’s main stage performance at Lollapalooza.

Like Ritual de lo Habitual, Lollapalooza will also be celebrating their 25th anniversary. Interestingly enough, Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Garrell founded the festival in 1991 as a traveling festival. This year’s lineup includes Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more, returning to Chicago’s Grant Park on July 28-July31st. More information can be found here.

“The Sterling Spoon Anniversary Tour” will make stops in Coney Island, Asbury Park, Boston, Philadelphia, Sterling Heights, and Cleveland before landing in Chicago. Tickets go on sale April 15th at 10 AM local time through Ticketmaster. Additional information can be found on the band’s website.
