***Update: The gates are now open, and Pitbull will not perform his previously-scheduled set. Updated cubes can be found here.***

Heavy weather is heading to New Orleans right now, and the gates to Jazz Fest will delay their opening. According to The Weather Channel, the national weather service has issued tornado watch 181 in effect until 3PM this afternoon. There are also alerts our for wind advisory, special marine warning, and small craft advisory issued in the vicinity. Thunderstorms are expected to start at 11AM and last through 9PM.

As a result, Jazz Fest will delay their opening until further notice. With headlining performances from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Lorde, Maceo Parker, and performances from Dr. John and the Gris-Gris Krewe, Elle King, and so many more, we have our fingers crossed for a safe passing of the storm.

Tonight’s late-night shows will still go on, so rest up and get ready to boogie all night long! Check out our Official L4LM Guide To Jazz Fest After Dark and see below for tonight’s activities.
