This past fall, the one-of-a-kind instrumental Phish tribute band that is Jazz Is Phish brought an all-star lineup of musicians to the Brooklyn Bowl for a sold out throwdown that had everyone buzzing for more. Next month, we’re building an even bigger lineup of the Phishy jazz collective who will be hitting The Hall at MP on 2/18. Tickets are available here.

A product of the Chase brothers, Adam Chase and Matthew Chase of Strange Design and The James Brown Dance Party, Jazz Is Phish is a unique approach to Phish that has never been done before. They’ll be joined by Michael Ray (Sun Ra, Giant Country Horns), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Kevin Moehringer (TV On The Radio/High & Mighty Brass Band), Todd Stoops (RAQ), Anthony Wellington (Victor Wooten Band), James Casey (Trey Anastasio Band/Animus Rexx), and Josh Thomas (With Lions).

The last time Jazz Is Phish hit New York, phans were treated to one-of-a-kind jazz interpretations of “46 Days”, a heavy “Wilson” which saw Holly Bowling on keys, a jammed-out “Meat”, a fiery “Moma Dance”, and more. Check out a fan-shot clip of “Wilson” below:

With so many Phish tribute acts out there, Jazz Is Phish really takes it out of the box and nails it. We’re stoked to have them at The Hall at MP on Thursday, February 18.
