On Saturday, November 26th, as part of a very special Thanksgiving weekend celebration, JAZZ IS PHSH will be performing two show in one night at New York City’s The Cutting Room. The first show will be a mostly-seated performance of the group’s upcoming album He Never Spoke A Word, played in its entirety, with the second performance being a traditional stand-up and rage show.
Joining JAZZ IS PHSH co-founders Adam and Matthew Chase will be an all-star cast consisting of Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band, The Flecktones), Felix Pastorius (Cindy Blackman Group, The YellowJackets, The Mu’tet), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Justin Stanton (Snarky Puppy), Adam Dotson (Rubblebucket), Josh Myers (Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds), Jay Rodriguez (Miles Davis, Groove Collective) and more, several of whom performed on the album as well.
The forthcoming album features an impressive roster of musicians that includes the drumming legend Dennis Chambers as well as Michael Ray (Sun Ra, Kool And The Gang, Phish), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band, Flecktones), Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Aquarium Rescue Unit), Carl “Geerz” Gerhard (Phish’s Giant Country Horns), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Grant Green Jr. (Groove Masters), Anthony Wellington (Victor Wooten Band), and many other incredible musicians!
