Legendary blues guitarist Jeff Beck will extend his prolific catalog with a new album, as Beck has just announced a new studio album to be due out on July 15th. The follow-up to Grammy winning 2010 album Emotion & Commotion should be something special, as no one plays the guitar quite like Jeff Beck.
Aside from the new album, Beck will be releasing his very own memoir, titled BECK01, on July 12th. According to a press release, BECK01 “explores Beck’s passions for hot rodding and rock’n’roll, bound together in his official, signed, limited edition book.” With exclusive photos and extensive writing from Beck, this should make for a great read for any passionate fan.
Not only has Jeff Beck announced a book and album, but he’ll also be touring this summer with renowned blues guitarist Buddy Guy. The two had previously announced dates, but their summer tour just got a major extension with seven new dates together, and four addition performances from just Jeff Beck.
