The Brooklyn Comes Alive lineup just keeps getting better and better. With over 50 artists on the bill, the supergroup formations will be trickling in over the next couple of weeks. Today, we’re excited to announce that drummer Joe Russo and guitarist Scott Metzger of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead are teaming up with founding member of Greyboy Allstars organist Robert Walter and bassist Andy Hess, formerly in Gov’t Mule and The Black Crowes, for a supergroup set at the festival!

This will be the group’s second time playing together, following their performance as “The Brooklyn Bowl All-Stars” in August of 2014. There’s a distinct mix of rock, soul, funk, and jam in the mix – so be sure not to miss these all-star musicians as they make their BCA debut.

Set for October 22, 2016, the second annual Brooklyn Comes Alive will span three of Brooklyn’s most popular venues — Brooklyn Bowl, The Hall at MP, and Music Hall of Williamsburg — all within a 10 minute walking radius. Tickets to the event grants you access to all three venues, and can be found here. More information can be found on the event’s website.

So far, BCA has officially announced the All Brothers Band, a debut performance from brothers Oteil & Kofi Burbridge and Neal & Alan Evans, [Br]eaking [Bi]scuits, a first-time collaboration between Break Science’s Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee with The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner, Reed Mathis’s Electric Beethoven, and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer as an artist-at-large.
