Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has been tearing it up recently, as evidenced by their smokin’ New Orleans run at the Joy Theater on the heels of their arena debut in Colorado earlier in the month. Clearly, the group has been thinking of new ways to innovate and keep the fan experience fresh. Yesterday, the band announced their new partnership with nugs.net to allow fans to stream their live shows.

However, to those of us who live for Almost Dead’s soundboards on archive.org, fret not. The band will continue to release their shows for free download and streaming via archive.org. “Our intent is to duplicate our “Band Released” content that currently exists on Archive.org on nugs.net as well. As we record, mix & master more shows, they too will find their traditional home on Archive as well as a new home at http://nugs.net/app/,” said a statement on Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s Facebook page.

To coincide with this announcement and to prove the group was serious about still releasing all their soundboards for free, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead released their recent New Orleans shows on May 6th and 7th from the Joy Theatre. You can take a listen below, or head over to nugs.net to take them on the go.
