John Mayer has announced additional dates to his enormous Spring tour that will take him across North America and Europe, marking his first major tour as a solo artist in years. Mayer will combine his varied talents into one show, promising an acoustic set, a set with the John Mayer Trio (featuring bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan), and a set with his full live band as well. The announcement comes after the release of four new tracks from The Search For Everything earlier today.

He released this video with the announcement:

Mayer will kick off his tour at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY on March 31st. The tour will take him to Madison Square Garden in New York, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, The Forum in Inglewood, and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. There are fifteen North American dates in all, with the tour finishing off at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on April 22nd. The tour will then move to Europe, where Mayer will make stops in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, and more.

The second, newly-announced leg of his tour begins on July 18 at Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque, NM and closes on September 3 at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, IN over 30 dates later. Tickets for the latest dates go on sale March 4th. More information can be found on Mayer’s website.
