Get ready for “A Great Night in Harlem”! The 15th annual benefit concert, which raises money for the Jazz Foundation of America, has pulled together an impressive lineup for this year’s event at the Apollo Theatre. Topping the bill is Dr. John, who will receive the Hank Jones Award that evening, as well as the the elusive John Mayer Trio.

The trio, featuring Dead & Company man Mayer, famed session bassist Pino Palladino, and drummer Steve Jordan, will return to the stage for the first time since Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival in June 2010. The band has been in the studio prepping Mayer’s new solo album, so we’re hoping to hear some new material at this show!

Also on the lineup is pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph, blues guitarist Robert Cray, and famous actor, singer, and harmonica player Bruce Willis. The concert will take place on October 27th, and tickets are on sale now via this link.
