One of the most exciting announcements in recent memory was the announcement of a John McLaughlin and Jimmy Herring tour to come at the end of 2017. The tour will see McLaughlin playing the music of the Mahavishnu Orchestra for one farewell journey, and will see support from Herring and his band on each night of the run. The two guitarists have promised an extended collaborative encore for each night of the run as well, only adding to the magic.
The only down side to this announcement is that the tour is not scheduled until the end of 2017. To keep us excited, McLaughlin recorded a video to the Huffington Post talking about the tour! We can’t wait for these performances. Check out the video, below.
