Jesus Coomes, bassist for the funk band Lettuce, has announced a unique solo EP. Titled Jesus Saves, Coomes will release his “Christian Funk” album this weekend – just in time for Easter.

Coomes has been keeping the project a secret for a while, but only today announced the new concept. “I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps, but do something that’s my own, man. By combining Christian and funk elements, bro, Jesus Saves is something truly Jesus Coomes.” Coomes’ father is a Christian rock musician.
