This past Saturday night, NOLA funk-jam staples Galactic finished their two-night run at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl, playing to a sold out crowd. After an opening set from the Dead 27s, Galactic took the stage for a blistering 90+ minute set. Captivating vocalist Erica Falls joined the band for ten songs, including The Pointer Sisters‘s “Going Down Slowly” and fan-favorite Galactic originals “Higher and Higher” and “Dolla Diva”. Dead 27s lead singer Trey Francis also joined the band onstage, lending his vocals to a rousing rendition of Baby Huey‘s classic “Hard Times”.
