The most “far out” set from any of the Core Four members of the Grateful Dead at this year’s Lockn’ Festival was definitely drummer Mickey Hart’s ‘Deep Rhythm Experience’ at The Woods stage late Friday night with Steve Kimock, EOTO (Michael Travis and Jason Hann of the String Cheese Incident) and Android Jones. The group dialed up no songs in particular but rather took the forest for a space odyssey reminiscent to a super trippy “Drums” section of a Dead show.

Now, via Rippleish20 and Soundcloud, you can stream and/or download the audio from the set that night. The set starts around the 36 minute mark, but the soundcheck is certainly worth checking out if you’re into that ambient kind of thing:
