Arguably one of the best songs to come from the new crop of material, “Blaze On” has been a fan favorite since its debut in the summer of 2015. Since then, the song has become a fan favorite, with its breezy island jam leading the charge. Though obviously much shorter than a live rendition, the track enjoyable clocks in at an even 4:20.

Phish’s studio take on “Blaze On” is lighthearted, as Trey Anastasio even spotlights Page McConnell with a “Leo!” chant. The song is the second track to be released from the new Big Boat album, as “Breath and Burning” was recently released via NPR Music (stream it here).
