St. Paul & The Broken Bones have an infectious soul energy, combining a big band swing with the emotional vocals from frontman Paul Janeway. With a new album on the way, the Bones hit the Newport Folk Festival to strut their stuff on one of the most renowned stages in music history. The band’s blaring horn section keep things tight as ever, but it’s Janeway who steals the show with his wild, unadulterated performance style.
