The Claypool Lennon Delirium might be the best new band of 2016. formed out of jam sessions between Les Claypool and Sean Lennon following Primus‘s tour with Lennon’s band The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, the band took the music world by storm this summer. The band’s excellent debut album, Monolith Of Phobos, announced the band to the world with a bang, and their blistering live set made the Delirium a favorite at festivals across the country.

Now, the Claypool Lennon Delirium stopped by NPR‘s World Cafe for a brief performance, as well as a conversation with band leaders Claypool and Lennon. The band performed “Cricket And The Genie (Movement I, The Delirium)”, “Cricket And The Genie (Movement II, Oratorio Di Cricket)”, and “Breath Of A Salesman”, all from their debut album.
