Listen and Download Trey Anastasio Band’s New Single, ‘Never’

Though the song is some 17 years old, it seems that “Never” will be included on the forthcoming Trey Anastasio Band album, Paper Wheels. The track is currently available to download/stream via Trey’s website, and right here as well:

“Never” was written by Tom Marshall and Anastasio for a Bridge School Benefit in 1998, and was originally intended for Phish. The song was all-but-forgotten, only performed twice in 2005 by TAB (as Phish was in hiatus at that time), but was dug up and performed by TAB again last December in Portland. Considering a studio version of the track is streaming from Anastasio’s website, we can only assume that it will be included in the band’s album release.

As of yet, “Bounce” and “Speak To Me” are the only other singles known to be included on the album – the rest, including the album release date, remains a mystery.
