Widespread Panic kicked off their destination concert event, Panic En La Playa, just a few days ago, bringing the heat down to the Dominican Republic for four days of jammy good times. The group got things off to a great start on the first night, bringing things to a new level on night two with the debut of a new tune, “Swear It Wasn’t Me.”

The tune, which can be viewed below, may or may not be included in a new WSP album. The band hasn’t released new studio material since 2010’s Dirty Side Down, but if “Swear It Wasn’t Me” is any indication, a new WSP album is going to rock. This bluesy number is all soul, all the time, powered by excellent guitarwork from Jimmy Herring. Watch below:
