Lockn’ Festival has announced a very special Mad Dogs & Englishmen tribute to Joe Cocker, the legendary vocalist who passed away at the end of 2014.

Joe Cocker Has Passed Away At Age 70

The tribute set will include a performance hosted by the Tedeschi Trucks Band with guest musicians that include Leon Russell, Dave Mason, Rita Coolidge, Chris Robinson, Doyle Bramhall II. Many musicians who recorded on the original Mad Dogs & Englishmen live album from 1970, including Russell, Coolidge, will be on hand for this tribute.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that Dave Mason, the drummer of the famed rock band Traffic, is responsible for writing the tune “Feelin’ Alright,” which Cocker later popularized with his scintillating rendition.
