Long Lost Punk Track Featuring John Belushi Will Finally Be Released

After 34 years of laying dormant, a lost punk track featuring legendary comedian John Belushi and hardcore thrashers Fear will be released. Recorded in 1982 just months before Belushi’s untimely death, the track “Neighbors” bares the same name as Belushi’s 1981 comedy co-starring fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Dan Aykroyd.

The track was handed over to Fear frontman Lee Ving and given the go-ahead by Belushi’s widow. Ving mixed the track at Dave Grohl’s Los Angeles studio and will be released as Fear’s next track.

The news was first reported by Contact Music, and confirmed by a social media post from Fear.
