For her new album, Madonna is apparently reviving some of her old hits for a 21st century audience. Working with Diplo, Madonna is reworking her 1986 classic, “La Isla Bonita.”

Madonna’s new album has been a bit of a mystery, but as she’s recently collaborated with Avicii, it seems Madonna is leaning towards EDM sensibilities. Her remake of “La Isla Bonita” briefly debuted on the BBC program, Superstar DJs, when Diplo plays the introduction to the track. Madonna sings “Last night I dreamt of Major Lazer,” (instead of “last night I dreamt of San Pedro”), in reference to Diplo’s side project.

Madonna’s last attempt at EDM, her 2012 album MDNA (a reference to MDMA), was quite successful, so it’s no surprise that she would continue down this path. You can also watch the original “La Isla Bonita” below, in case you feel like reliving the 80’s:
