In the wake of Prince‘s death earlier this year, there has been an outpouring of admiration for the artist from around the music industry. Countless artists have paid their respects to the Purple One onstage since then, but the upcoming tribute concert at St. Paul, MN’s Xcel Energy Center will be the biggest celebration yet.

After long delays in planning, the official all-star salute to Prince promised by his sister Tyka Nelson will finally take place on October 13th. The lineup for the show is stacked with A-List talent  including Stevie WonderChaka Khan, Christina Aguilera, John MayerAnita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal, Mint Condition and Prince-connected acts Morris Day & the Time, Judith Hill, Liv Warfield, the New Power Generation led by Morris Hayes, and members of 3rdEyeGirl. More artists are slated to be announced as the event approaches.

After initially shooting for the Minnesota Vikings’ new U.S. Bank Stadium (with its 50,000 purple seats), concert organizers finally settled on the smaller Xcel Energy Center. Still, the event is expected to raise more than $1 million for Prince’s estate. According to concert organizer L. Londell McMillan in the Star Tribune, “It’s not about the money. It’s about celebrating his life and music and bringing people together and love for Prince.”

Tickets go on sale on Monday at 10am at the Xcel Center box office, buy phone at 800-745-3000 and on Ticketmaster. Prices haven’t been announced yet but McMillan said they will start at $19.99.
