It seems that just about everyone and their mothers have made guest appearances with Arcade Fire on their Reflektor tour, and last night was no exception. Legendary soul singer Mavis Staples joined the band in Chicago last night, performing a rousing rendition of “The Last Time” by The Rolling Stones.

“The Last Time” actually has a long history. The Stones have admitted that their tune was inspired by the gospel song, “This May Be The Last Time,” which was popularized by none other than The Staple Sisters in 1955. The youngest Staples sister is, of course, none other than Mavis.

In fact, the Arcade Fire performance saw the band perform both the Stones and the Staple Sisters version. You can watch this fan shot video of the moment below:
