Medeski, Martin & Wood: Residency at NYC’s Blue Note

Medeski Martin & Wood have announced a week-long residency at the legendary Blue Note club in New York City in December. The band will perform 2 shows each night (8:00 & 10:30PM) December 11 – 16, 2012. Special guests include Wilco guitarist Nels Cline (Dec. 12), guitarist Marc Ribot (Dec. 13), and saxophonist Bill Evans (Dec. 14). More guests to be announced soon.  For tickets, click here.

Leading up to that residency, MMW will be playing a special East Coast Acoustic Tour, which is sure to be interesting.  They will be making a stop at Huntington’s Paramount Theatre in Long Island on October 12th, as well as making the rounds in MA, PA, NJ, CT,Washington DC, and MD.
