Phish bassist Mike Gordon and drummer Jon Fishman have announced that they will play at a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Tuesday.

Gordon and Fishman will play with The Mallet Brothers Band at a Super Tuesday rally on March 3rd at Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, VT. This announcement comes as just the latest in Fishman’s ongoing public support for Sanders, as he has also signed on to co-chair Sanders’ Super Tuesday Maine campaign, represented the senator at the Maine Democratic National Convention in 2016, and wore an altered version of his iconic muumuu featuring Sanders’ head instead of the classic donuts. At the 2016 DNC, Fishman also awarded Sanders some credit for Phish’s early success in Burlington in the early 1980s, when Sanders was mayor of the city
