moe. resumed their fall touring last night, playing The National in Richmond for a Tuesday night rager. moe. was in fine form, treating fans to a palindromic show of sorts that featured a number of songs in both the first and second sets.

The first set opened with “Brent Black” into “Tubing The River Styx” into “The Pit,” and all three of those songs returned in reverse order to help close out the second set as well! The band is really having fun with their setlists, taking chances in unique and interesting ways on a nightly basis.

The show also notably featured the band’s first performance of Radiohead’s “Karma Police,” played for the first time since the band’s set at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT on 10/2/13. Almost three years later to the day, the song delighted as a first set closer.

After opening and closing the sets with “Brent Black,” the band had time for one more encore tune, and treated fans to a great rendition of “The Ghost Of Ralph’s Mom.” What a show!

Tonight, it’s @moetheband ❤️
