After having to cancel several dates due to bassist Ted Dwane’s emergency operation to remove a blood clot from his brain, Mumford & Sons have announced rescheduled dates, as well as details of their Full English Tour which will see them make their way from Ontario to South Carolina.

One date in particular will take place at Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium (which marks the first time a concert has been held there in 20 years). Though outdated and a bit shoddy looking, approval from city inspectors deeming the structure safe, along with an accelerated renovation will lead into this first “trial” performance on August 28th at the venue, which has hosted bands such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix and The Monkees.

Here is the official word from the Mumford & Sons camp:

“Firstly and most importantly, we are pleased to report that Ted is making a steady recovery from his recent operation; thank you so much for your messages of support.

Secondly, we are pleased to confirm rescheduled dates for the shows that were canceled due to the above – please see below.

Thirdly – wildcard – we are thrilled to bring you details of the The Full English North American Tour: from Ontario to South Carolina, with support from The Vaccines and Bear’s Den…”
