Oak Street Block Party is shaping up to be one of the best festivals yet. Aside from FREE tickets and an all-star lineup, the one-day festival during the “days between” at New Orleans Jazz Festival has revealed to us their plans to host a “dunk tank” with musicians and industry members alike.

The idea came about from wanting to incorporate some more carnival-type activities to the event, while the “Dunk Me Silly” event title is a play on the festival’s title “Funk Me Silly.” All the musicians and industry members have donated 20-minute time blocks for the Oak St. Block Party, and all proceeds collected will go to support the local community.

The full list includes Eric Krasno, Ian Neville, Billy Iuso, Oteil Burbridge, Nikki Glaspie, & more. You can see the schedule below, and head to this article to find out more about the musicians performing at the event.

It just so happens Live For Live Music founder Kunj Shah is on the list of people to get dunked… so don’t miss a chance to get him drenched!
