After David Bowie’s tragic death in early 2016, his associates promised “a long list” of unreleased music for fans everywhere. Fortunately, it seems they will make good on this promise, as a brand new box set chronicling the years between 1974-1976 will feature an unreleased album from 1974, entitled The Gouster.

The 12-disc, 13-LP box set is called David Bowie – Who Can I Be Now? (1974-1976), and captures Bowie during a transitional period from the “Ziggy Stardust” era into albums like Diamond Dogs and more. The title itself comes from a song recorded in 1974, but never released until 1990.

The box set features the Diamond Dogs album, as well as David Live, Young Americans, Live Nassau Coliseum ’76, Station to Station a collection of B-sides and singles called Re:Call 2, and, of course, the unreleased The Gouster album. The Gouster was recorded, mixed and mastered in 1974, but left unreleased as Bowie went to work with John Lennon and Harry Maslin on Young Americans. Fortunately, producer Tony Visconti was not only responsible for recording The Gouster in 1974, but his steady hand guided this re-release as well.

Check out the artwork and full tracklisting below. We can’t wait to hear this new music from David Bowie!
