My Morning Jacket’s ‘One Big Holiday’ To Return To Mexico

My Morning Jacket has revealed plans to return to the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Mexico for the second year of “One Big Holiday.” The festival will again grace the ears of festival goers with three sets by MMJ, as well as guest shows by Band of Horses, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dr. Dog, War on Drugs, Dawes, Sylvan Esso, and Biz Markie (DJ set).

The festival boasts space for up to 2500 vacationers and will be an all-inclusive event at the resort, providing meals, drinks, and other activities on top of the music. And for those attendees who don’t want to miss the Super Bowl, which takes place on Feb. 1, the hotel will also be hosting viewing parties with music pushed back that night to avoid overlap.

Tickets become available on June 27th at noon for the general public, although those who attended last year’s “Holiday” are given the opportunity to buy tickets a day early beginning at the same time.
