North Coast Music Festival Announces Official 2017 After Parties

Over its eight-year existence, Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival has become one of the summer’s elite festivals, with a built-in local base that brings in thousands of people from all over the country. And while the overall musical diversity of the fest has expanded over the years to include a myriad of genres, co-producers/promoters Silver Wrapper, React Presents, Cold Grums and Metronome have stayed true to their core demographic in securing a mixture of top talent from the electronic, jam, and hip-hop scenes. Set to take place from Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3, 2017, this year’s NCMF looks to be the best yet.

In addition to their already expansive three-day line-up—which has tapped the likes of Bonobo, Lettuce, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, STS9, Spafford, SunSquabi, Ween, Primus, and more—today, North Coast Music Festival has announced their official after-parties for 2017. Once the music stops at the festival proper each night, North Coast will take the party to some of Chicago’s most popular and intimate nightclubs and concert venues. Friday night will see Manic Focus & Russ Liquid, Eric Prydz, and Gucci Mane perform at venues across Chicago. On Saturday, four acts—Spafford, EOTO, Don Diablo, and Carnage—will host official after-parties, while on Sunday, STS9, Destructo, and Elephante are scheduled to help close out the final night of North Coast. As a final send-off for the weekend, North Coast Music Festival will host a special closing party at the MID on Monday night, featuring Porn and Chicken and a number of special guests.
