With two tragic losses in the Allman Brothers Band this year, musicians are finding peace through the celebration of music. This September in Colorado, a group of local players in the scene will unite as the “Other Brothers – A High Country Tribute to the Allman Brothers Band.” Todd Smallie (JJ Grey & Mofro/Derek Trucks Band), Bill McKay (Coral Creek/Derek Trucks Band), Mark Levy (Phil Lesh & Friends / Circles Around the Sun), John Michel (Brother’s Keeper / John Oates Band ), James Dumm (Fox Street), Rob Eaton Jr. (Brother’s Keeper), and Will Trask (Great American Taxi) will unite to honor one of America’s greatest musical legacies: The Allman Brothers Band.

The Other Brothers will capture the spirit and invoke the furious musical interplay pioneered by the Allman Brothers on classics like “Dreams,””Jessica,” and “Whipping Post.” Expect the hits, but also be prepared for ABB music that you won’t hear anywhere else — especially like this.

The Other Brothers will perform at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, Cervantes’ Other Side, Shakedown Bar, and Wanderfest at New Terrain Brewing for a solid four-day run in Colorado. Don’t miss out, and play all night!
