After celebrating a “Spring Fling” at the new outdoor Terrapin Crossroads space, Phil Lesh brought his “Friends” inside to finish up a two-night run inside the Grate Room. Lesh returned with an all-star lineup that included Chris Robinson, John Scofield, Ross James, Tony Leone and Jason Crosby, keeping the band mostly the same as the previous show but substituting Scott Law for Ross James. The band got to rocking from the getgo, opening with “U.S. Blues” and busting out Grateful Dead hit after hit.

The show not only featured choice Dead material, but a cover of Ray Charles’ “I Don’t Need No Doctor,” as well as two selections from the Bob Dylan catalog: “A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall” and the encore, “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue.” Listen to full audio below thanks to Quinfolk.
