Phish just completed a major run of the Northeast, running through Philadelphia, Saratoga, Mansfield, Hartford and Syracuse in the course of a week and a half. The band continues to impress with big jams, and perhaps none were as transcendental as the version of “Light” performed at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. Coming out of a set opening “Ghost,” Phish took “Light” near the twenty minute mark, moving through various themes and coming to a beautiful and melodic conclusion. Though the show itself was plagued by sound troubles, this “Light” was certainly a stand out moment on tour.
