With Phish’s three-night run at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park coming up soon, there’s no shortage of music to enjoy before and after each performance. Among the many shows in Colorado over that weekend, a newly-announced one certainly caught our eye. Titled “The Music Never Stopped Making Sense,” the two-day event will see music on multiple stages from Pink Talking Fish, The John Kadlecik Band, Particle, Holly Bowling and The Jauntee.
The series will be held on September 1st and 2nd at Quixote’s True Blue in Denver, CO, starting with the show on 9/1 with PTF, Kadlecik Band, Particle and Bowling. As Phish’s run doesn’t start until the 2nd, this multi-stage showing will serve as the official pre-party! The showing on the 2nd will be a late night affair, with PTF, Kadlecik Band and The Jauntee raging until 4AM! There will also be a pre-Phish show on the 2nd, with Holly Bowling performing her solo piano interpretations.
In addition to this show, PTF and Greener Grounds are teaming up for a Phish pre-party on August 31st at the Boulder Theatre in Boulder, CO. Furthermore, The Jauntee, John Kadlecik Band, Holly Bowling and The Sweet Lillies will be back on Saturday, 9/3 for more music at Quixote’s! It’s a regular “Dick’s Jaunt” for The Jauntee!
