Tim Alexander, the drummer of Primus, had open heart surgery this morning after suffering a heart attack recently. L4LM originally reported on his heart attack on Saturday. Primus took to their Facebook page earlier today after the blockage was successfully removed from his heart:
“The Mighty Tim “Herb” Alexander has pulled through surgery, the blockage from his heart has been removed with no complications and all signs point to a glorious and speedy recovery.”
Fans have taken to social media with their concerns over his surgery and well wishes for a quick recovery. Primus is slated to play Riot Fest Denver on September 19th in Colorado.
