After releasing two albums yesterday, Prince joined Facebook and announced a very special Q&A session to be held at 3 PM Eastern. Never mind that the storied singer scored over a million likes on Facebook in one day, but Prince’s Q&A thread received nearly four thousand questions.
So, what did Prince do? He waited until 4:30, a full hour and a half after the initial start time, and responded to a single question, “Please address the importance of ALL music being tuned to 432hz sound frequencies???”
The best part of Prince’s reply is that he didn’t even directly answer the question. He said “The Gold Standard,” and provided this link to a page from Collective Evolution, which explains the difference between tuning A to 440 Hz vs. 432 Hz.
The royal musician was not heard from again, though, presumably he was preoccupied with his live, webcasted, behind-the-scenes album release party, where rapper Kendrick Lamar dropped by. Watch below:
